Unless you were directly impacted by Hurricane Harvey, you’ll never know what that 2017 World Series Championship means to Astros fans. We could care less about sign stealing. The Astros lifted the community in a way I’ll never forget. That WS trophy is forever ours. #ForTheH
Details of the New York Yankees sealed letter are beginning to be released.
The gist: In 2015 and 2016 the Yankees were using the video replay room to decode catcher sign sequences then relaying that to runners on 2nd base who would then give the sign to the batters.
So the Yankees cheated, got fined $100k and nobody talked about it. The Astros cheat, and we lose our coach and GM, get fined $5 million, lose our draft picks, and get our reputation tainted for life. We are the biggest scapegoats in sports history.
Once the holidays are over in Houston, we measure time in rodeo and baseball increments. Rodeo announcement, pitchers/catchers report, spring training starts, rodeo starts, exhibition games, and then opening day. #whatlockout
People don’t hate the Astros because of the 2017 sign stealing scandal.
They hate them because 4 years later they’re just as good and they’re afraid their team still can’t beat them.

Get ready for a jillion lazy “Yankees fans are mad” articles this week because God forbid we go a day without hearing about how entitled they are
