Until you learn how to walk in love, the God kind of love the Greeks called agape, you are not a free man or woman. You will be held bondage to the words and treatments of others. Your feelings and emotions will get the better of you, and you will be open to gossip and deception by people who want to use you for their own objectives.

The commandment to love is no longer just to love your neighbour as yourself. It is now to love others even as I have loved you.

This is the new commandment in the New Testament.

John 13:34
"A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another."

The first step in the love walk is forgiveness.

Ephesians 4:32
