just lettjng u guys know i updated my polin ao3 theme to include the claude AI detection code, written by @heatedrivalryai (this means if u come across a fic which is partially generated by claude, the theme will change to a red background)
https://t.co/3Hn7mQpvvb
@navywijuu@heatedrivalryai It may ask u to rename if the name isnβt unique, it really diesnβt matter what u name it. lmk if u have any issues and i can try help!
@navywijuu@heatedrivalryai Firstly copy the code in the link. If you click on your username on ao3, you can go to your dashboard, then go to skins. From there, you can click βCreate site skin.β This takes you to a form where u need to name the skin and paste the code into the css box
@abvj322 i had no idea css could work like that, i thought it was basically just naming a class thatβs in the html then changing that element itself, i didnβt realise u could change other elements :)
@abvj322 so u can use css to say that if the html includes this class, change the colour of the document (code is in this tweet) https://t.co/pzAHhwyZzI
@sololinneaa@heatedrivalryai Hi! If you copy and paste only this section (ss) and add it to the CSS of your preexisting skin (choose an area NOT inside {β¦}) you can use your normal skin and the red will replace it if there is AI. if you need help lmk!
@bridgertonia@heatedrivalryai i know, such a shame! unfortunately donβt think theres many ways to check for ai that dont use ai themselves and the rate itβs improving itβs getting harder to catch (annd easier to disguise)
@bridgertonia@heatedrivalryai same here! i tested it on some polin fics and didnβt find any when i did so fingers crossed! i know this particular code only identifys claude AI so not a cover all, but just a warning sign if u click on a fic and the authorβs pasted directly from claude
