@deliveristics @jcbringle @GrasshopperLabs@newsbreakApp@SourcingJournal We’re having a disaster of a delivery. Our couch apparently arrived at the final mile facility on 1/27/23 and yet we still don’t have it. Delivery day we had a window of 9am-12pm and they never showed up. Now they don’t know where the couch is.
@JeromeAdamsMD@edwinhollins Don’t you live in Indiana where the schools have been open with minimal mitigation since July of 2020? You’re kids get normal school but we don’t.
@sandram94160756 @JeromeAdamsMD 100% yes, unmasked. I’m boosted. The point of the vaccine is that WHEN you are exposed your body is prepared. The virus is everywhere including Antarctica. I’m sorry you were misled about the goal. Flatten the curve always meant eventual exposure.
@sandram94160756 @JeromeAdamsMD In 1975, US had 1.5 million adult hospital beds. In 2019, we had 900k. Our population grew by 110 million in that time and is older and less healthy. Hospital administrators have been cutting beds to improve profits for decades.
@JeromeAdamsMD Then also say boosted teachers don’t need to fear in person education. Please help create vaccine confidence so that kids in our cities can go to school.
@JeromeAdamsMD Your initial no mask recommendation was good based on the Cochran review from 2019. Your change to masking also good based on the new data in 3/2020. It’s been 21 months, we need RCT to be driving all govt mandates and everything else being choice with default being normal.
@JeromeAdamsMD What about the teacher who rides to work and goes out to lunch daily with the one that was out? Likely now that teacher is more infectious than the one that was out.
@JeromeAdamsMD Bringing <5 or immunocomprised to any indoor gathering has risk. You either accept it or you don’t go. Whether someone had an asymptomatic positive or more likely didn’t get tested is of no consequence. Someone there is infectious.
@latimeralder Doctors are taught to only do a test if the results will change your management. And If you don’t trust the results don’t do the test. But many doctors forgot those rules.
