@sleepy_devo The joke is kind of like the old phrase "a watched pot never boils." Just because you're waiting on something, it seems like the universe or people conspire for it not to happen.
@justalexoki Not to be pedantic, but many creation stories, particularly the Biblical one, say that the entirety of the universe happened because the Creator spoke it into existence.
@hoodii30 In reality, for self defense this is probably quite good, especially if you're an amateur marksman. Pistols are hard to shoot - this is a spray and pray. You point it in the general direction of your attacker and you have about 100 chances to hit him.
@MalefactorFD@hoshizorarock I am not trained in the way of steak.
What cut is that?
Would it take good if fried in a slight sheen of olive oil, coated in salt and pepper, then transferred to an oven at 300° for about 5-10 minutes to cook the interior?
@MizutamariVT I don't care about Marcille, but I genuinely have a hard time believing Laios is not **some** kind of autistic. There are certain jobs and professions that lend themselves to it, and Laios acts like he would very much like trains, if you know what I'm saying.
@ChrisSeltzer@MichaelButtonX Other factors have to do with the amount of huntable game and gatherable fruits and veggies. Farming takes planning, ingenuity, and time; scavenging takes none of that. In regions with large populations, huntables dry up fast, encouraging farming for more consistent food sources.
@UpdatingOnRome Original ending they had in mind was basically that Kratos meets 2 other immortals who realize that there needs to be an actually good god, and in their wanderings hear a prophecy about a universal God who is about to incarnate His Son to free mankind from the false deities. 3wg.
@PopSceneMadi@TBYSTweet She's saying this, I believe, as a message to the growing islamist population in Japan. Just like how in the UK, for some perverse reason, they were making commercials using 12 year olds advertising the refugee life in the country.
@SourGrapeVA Counter counter point: that's a translator. I have no problems with translators doing their jobs. Localizers, however, for some reason are given massive leeway to rewrite the dialog and script to suit whatever they want. Little phrases like "I love you" become "eat shit and die."
@pirooooon3 Sincere apologies, I realize hoe destructive this potentially is, but I see this and immediately think back to such goated videogames as Ghost of Tsushima.
Obviously call the police, but also inquire as to whether there's any place I cold do that without disrespecting my hosts.
