@dan_abramov if (timeNow - task.StartTime > 1000 / userFrameRateInMiliseconds) is some kind of pseudocode here. The previous tweet pseudocode is some midnight gibberish, sorry. The exact code lies here probably: https://t.co/826XmsSIcO
@dan_abramov
I've been reading beta react docs recently and on useTransition page, I started to think about how it can be implemented in the v8 engine and now I'm feeling stunned. How is it even possible to interrupt the thread process with an event technically? I'm lost :(
@dan_abramov With transition we're asking React to `do all work in all components, but when you're switching between components, if (taskStart.time - [1000/userFrameRate] === true) (so need to repaint), allow the browser to repaint and then continue your calculations of the next dom state
@dan_abramov On a side note when I tagged you Twitter freaked out, unlogged me and wouldn't let me log in with my google account. So React is impressive but not exactly SEO-from-South-Africa interventions proof, unfortunately. Maybe with v19 will be improved in this regard, who knows😂
@dan_abramov So no magic happens (I mean engine magic). All React does with transition hook is calculate state in chunks rather than in one big task. It won't help you if you have one heavy synchronous task in the parent component, but it will help with many small but sluggish components.
@dan_abramov I've seen some articles. One claimed that React splits my code in chunks but I don't believe it is possible to split my sorting function in chunks without me. Maybe I am wrong?
So this is what you get in game when you allow players from orgs that support the war in Ukraine to play in a tournaments.
Pure, Virtus Pro player, draws a Z symbol in game. Symbol that supports the war and russian army killing ukrainians
They should be banned. indefinetely
@flymepegasus I'm unable to recover money for my ticket from Ukraine (Flight cancelled because of war, obviously). The website force me to make a call, but nobody answered me on the phone line. This is how you behave in the war? Robbing people of their last money?
