💯 thats why Juve’s main focus should be to jack up their revenue.
If Juve want to have a massive revenue like Real Madrid then they have to act like Real Madrid by commiting huge amount of investments upfront, because thats how a team like Real Madrid operate. Every few years they always splash on big names and by doing this consistently, they always have massive flow of new fans every year and consequently always generate higher revenue on the long run.
Also, there is no shame in buying hype players, or players with huge following, because that is how you acquire new fans. Real Madrid did this with Beckham and they certainly didnt regret the longer term benefit from that.
And Juve can actually do all this because they are backed by one of the biggest european family consortium.
@jaraaxz 2 CMs with a lot of defensive duties - maybe that’s the problem. Too many defensive players make Spalletti’s attacking setup difficult to implement
Juve need to be less old school italian & play more modern football. Dont be like Italy who failed 3 consecutive WC qualifications
@utdbravee You guys really found out perfect way to get clicks.
Hit them in the ego, put well known but slightly forgotten player and call iz level hard.
Stupid male humans rush to prove they are worthy of the challenge.
Kudos.
🚨 JUST IN: Real Madrid were supposed to announce the winner of Real Madrid presidential election 14 minutes ago, but Enrique Riquelme has challenged 1,000 mail-in votes which will DELAY the announcement for a bit. @diarioas
@sunday_coach It’s actually great Cesc now has a stronger voice since finishing top 4 & he is using it to point the mess in italy, a nation that failed to qualify to WC 3 consecutive times
The message is strong & clear: become a dinosaur/extinct, or move forward and modernize italian football
Cesc #Fabregas a The Athletic: “In #SerieA non si attacca, non c’è struttura o stile. E comprano giocatori senza che l’allenatore li conosca. Vincere in Italia è difficile. Ci sono molti 0-0 e 1-0: le squadre cercano di annullarti difendendo e pressando, non attaccando…”. #Como
@Otavioprop It would be a pity if we just offload him just because his defensive qualities are poor as a LB and without trying him in a different position like left midfield in a 4-4-2 or LCM in a 4-3-3.
A proper football club shouldn’t focus on generating one-time gains like from player sales and instead focus more on generating revenue from sustainable sources like ticket sales, merch, TV, etc. These sustainable sources of revenue comes from things like playing good football and expand its market outreach - basically growing its fanbase.
Juve should aspire for that, because that’s the model that big teams like Real Madrid follows
@Otavioprop No good italian striker right now, that’s why italy missed consecutive world cups. If Juve end up going for italian striker they are gonna experience the same fate as the italian national team.
@1605denis@CHIESEVSKI@DKarovich@JayyashPriv This is correct, contract extension triggers the remaining book value to be amortized over the duration of contract extension
When the remaining book value is already 0, it is no longer a contract extension, it would just be a free transfer similar to guys like Jonathan David
@The_AJC_ Chiellini seems to be someone who would favour Conte to replace Spalletti.
If that’s true, it would be a backward step for Juve because De Bruyne’s comments about Conte carries weight for any attacking type player who is thinking of joining a team coached by Conte.
