What a fabulous extension this is going to be. The steep slope of the land to the rear of this house meant that we needed to bring in as much natural light as possible with tall clerestory windows, mezzanine level instead of an enclosed first floor and large skylights bring.
Really exciting to visit another project in Hurst Green, #Oxted this week that is so very nearly there! A rear and side extension have completely transformed this home, which now has a fabulous double sized living room, new patio area and a great utility room.
My easy, low maintenance garden has really come into its own since we created last year. Despite the extreme heat, the plants have thrived and it’s turned into a lovely space to relax. Proof that you don’t have to spend hours gardening to have a great garden!
Great to see builds starting to take shape…. This rear single storey extension in Hurst Green, Oxted had lots of issues with bridging existing drains before we could even properly get going, but it’s now well underway.
