Doing that merger piece for BRD really gave me an appreciation for just how many current/former skaters from Birmingham either skated or coached at the World Cups. This list is prolly not complete. Gotta be up there in terms of # of skaters.
@thederbyapex I have just been reminded that Suzette la Flamme also skated for team West Indies at the 2014 world cup. I wouldn't be surprised if there are more that I am missing. Hopefully there will also be even more to come in the future!
@thederbyapex We can’t wait until we can all skate together. I can add Thunderkat to the list who skated for team Wales at the 2014 World Cup and Violet Attack is a coach for Team GB juniors. We also have lots of super fans.

@jackson_villain The pandemic has definitely given us a lot of time to reflect and plan our return as a new stronger league and we cant wait to start skating together with all our new teammates!
We are not planning to have a can as our logo forever and are looking for help in designing our new brand. BRD will offer a competitive rate of pay for carrying out any agreed work. You can read the brief here:

@wearerainycity have been super helpful joining our steering group, sharing their thoughts and experience. They will also initially take on the role as one of the trustees of our new organisation. We are so grateful for their support for development of wider UK derby!
