@Huhimagine@SSMinnow285069@KirkLubimov Before the middle east conflict US exported 4 million barrels of crude. Now with global demand still high and the conflict ongoing US is dumping the SPR to compensate for the blunder which is why exports are so high. So SPR is your solution?
@SSMinnow285069@KirkLubimov This is from a US research firm. I like the US. Its odd in the comments because you think Canadians are all far left. Which I'm not
@SSMinnow285069@Huhimagine@KirkLubimov You've been draining your inventories for the last 6 months because of Iran SPR lowest since 1982. And the disruption has been less the 20 million since Saudi bypass and dark transit. WTI is the biggest price benchmark and it'd moon. All other oil benchmarks would too
@Huhimagine@SSMinnow285069@KirkLubimov With the Iran shitshow you have on your hands and Canadian oil going offline it would be a catastrophe 100% within a week. If we cut oil off it would screw Alberta big time aswell. If we tariffed Alberta oil you would have to take it. It'd be cool to be friends again.
@SSMinnow285069@KirkLubimov Your refineries rely on US light crude and Canadian heavy crude mixed to refine all of their products. You would lose a quarter of your refined products immediately. Worse then Canada sorry to say.
@JavierBlas So a leak from the Pentagon a while back said it would take 6 months to clear the mines. Now with missiles being shot at them they cleared the strait. What a joke
@Rory_Johnston Kinda funny the state's would've signed anything to release those trapped barrels in the strait when they signed the MOU and now Iran is holding their feet to the fire with what they originally signed. Trump only wins truth social warfare on markets so far.
@OilHeadlineNews Does the US even care what they sign? As long as they can tweet there's a deal and stocks go up, oil down seems to be the only goal. Just like the MOU
@JeffSnider_EDU I find the refinery losses argument interesting. Let's say crude pipelines are all running at 80% capacity from a producer. Then a refinery being supplied by one of the pipelines gets hit. Does it make sense all the crude can actually be redirected? Or producers shut in

@ArianParsIrani So Trump pulls out, Iran has control of the strait and develops a nuke and is the most powerful country in th region pissing off his fan base which is all he has right now. Probably the most unlikely option
