Look, the full game has to be on the disc to be a physical game. If I am having to download something from a server to complete the full base game on disc then its not a physical copy, its just a Key. You guys can do it for the last Final Fantasy game to be on a physical disc's.

If that’s the case then why was it done for the previous games in the trilogy? It sounds like based on the information, the game would require 3 discs if that’s the case as each disc can hold 100GB so don’t understand that as reasoning for not putting the full game on discs.

It's funny reading stuff like this and seeing just how out of touch some can be when it comes to physical versions of games. FF fans in particular would probably enjoy a multi disc set with cool art instead of their current choice. We'll see if they cave later on.
