The #SophomoreAlbum of GRIPAZEEM BE LIVING MOTIVATION (BLMGA) is almost here! Named after his elementary school, 'Applegarth Academy' is where the Rapper received his primary education. Whilst this rapper did study abroad in America for a year, this London Borough of Croydon school is not to be mistaken for New Jersey's own.

Also known as BLM GRIPAZEEM (BLMGA, Grip, G-Rip), the musician hails from the #Croydon. A place he hopes one day will achieve #CityStatus. With all the hype from the artist's music, and the buzz his name generates, his mission is that this project will be the breakthrough of his career. However, this is an artist that like to treat every project as if it may be his last.

Music has always been at the centre of BLMGA’s life. His first ever musical influences were by old jazz classics commonly played at home that encompassed an eclectic collection. It ranged from #ArethaFranklin, #ShirleyBassey, and #NatKingCole right through to the likes of #FrankSinatra and #DionneWarwick.

'God's Son' was the 1st rap album #Grip experienced crisp digital sounds at the advent of the Enhanced Music CD. It was because of #Nas that the artist fell in love with Extended Plays (EPs) - or albums. This is exactly is why Grip's 'Great Apples' fanbase get to enjoy entire "bodies of work" each time. The Illmatic album dropped closed to the time that BLMGA was born, and after immigrating from war-torn Sierra Leone as an infant with his mother.

Illmatic recently celebrated its 30 year anniversary, along with a resurgence in Hip Hop, rap feuds and now #Drake pioneering as the first artist to use AI in a feud. The album art work is inspired by Nas' debut album Illmatic. Whilst, Grip(z/s) may share the Myers Briggs (MBTI) personality as Billboard's ‘#GreatestOfAllTime’ (#GOAT) rapper #JAYZ, that decision holds no bearing to Hov's undeniable impact. After all, Grip already considers himself among the list GOAT rappers. Let us explain any source of contention.

The rap beef that JAY-Z and Nas had back in the 2000's is one of the most iconic fueds that Hip Hop has ever seen! This upcoming album was allocated a theme dedicated to BLMGA's youth so that explains it! Interestingly, #WillSmith's 'Welcome to Miami' cassette tape and #50Cent's 'In Da Club' CD were the first rap songs he ever bought. Whereas the 'Purple Pills' CD by #D12 was the first single BLMGA bought by a rap group.

In specific, what makes this upcoming artwork an influence of Illmatic is the #ArtCover. In this way, BLMGA was inspired by Nas as Nas was inspired by the #HowardHangerTrio's 'A Child Is Born'. This is technically Grip's first solo album, and the sound of it is much grittier with a repeat of the artist's #AuthenticFlows, unique #MusicalInsignia, #GenuineUndertones and the immersion of #RealLifeExperiences. Indeed, this artist is inspired by some of Hip Hop's greats who prides himself on having an original sound. Finally, the album addresses indirect mentions by some industry-established rappers.

This project was a lot more personal for this emcee compared to his introduction in 2023. That year marked #50YearsOfHipHop. Now, we are at the brink of feasting our ears on undoubtedly another classic EP - Applegarth Academy! It was very important to BLMGA to be able to debut his music by the age of 30. This is a rapper breaking the age-stereotypes and innovating the #NextWave of the genre.

It's been some time since #ManifestDestiny was released. This debut album brought many “first’s” including personal bests of 20K+ streams for the Manifest Destiny music video, 30K+ streams or his debut 50K+ streams for the most popular song from the ‘Rubi Rose’, and achieving near 200K streams in less than a year of launch. #BLMGA celebrates having a viral fan club. It is important to support artists. You extend the loyalty by not just streaming, but also purchasing the music.

Your patience has been much appreciated. Applegarth Academy's now in post-production. #GrippingRecords is currently in the finishing touches of publishing the project. The album's now weeks away from release. Time flies by so quickly and it's hard to believe a year since the first project's introduction has approached.
