@hayal_yaza1@yadigarhatra I wish it was still possible to have all of it: family stories, enmity stories, and romance stories. I don't want to choose. I want the writing to be done so well that each of these different stories weave together to something beautiful like in the early episodes.
@ecovolley00 One of the main reasons I loved them from the very beginning is the warmth, softness, and sweetness that they give me. It gets me every single time.
@ecovolley00 It blows my mind how most of my timeline that loves Orel only really posts about Orel or Oruc or Eleni. But those who love the other ships fill my timeline with more talk about Orel...
@ygmr3040 I see 2 problems: First, viewers all have different ideas of what "justice" really is. Is it going to prison? Paying a fine? Dying?
Second, the writers never allowed Eleni to speak for herself in later episodes. She follows the words, plans, and patterns of those she loves.
@ecovolley00 As hurt as I am about the treatment of OrEl, Oruc, Esme, and OrEs, what they've done to Eleni hurts the most. I don't care what name she goes by, her essence is gone. It's a betrayal to the character, the fans, and Ava's efforts. So sad.
@MiaForAva So ridiculous. Well let them keep their show. I will follow the careers of the 4 leads but I can't give my heart and energy to this show anymore.
@brehepinzdeli While everyone is trying to boost one person as more traumatized, I wish we had been able to see everyone process their issues. If this had been written well, all 4 characters could have processed their different traumas and it would have been so fascinating.
@ecovolley00 Things her family never asked her about:
- being younger then all of her classmates
- favorite color
- favorite music
- losing her first love before finding him
- favorite place
- future plans
- being sold
- watching people she loved get shot/shoot people
- dream vacation spot
@rorygillory Me too. I don't think I will come back in the Fall. It's too much. And if Cakir is the one who is shot and Oruc goes to prison, I am done for sure.
@ygmr3040 I think I am finally done. I won't watch tomorrow and I will check YouTube later. If this is the way it goes then I am done. Eleni is now just a source of support for her parents and Oruc is a body to punish in every way possible. I'm heartbroken.
@skywlkkr Exactly. Both characters were so full of light and warmth. Now they feel like empty shells. I get wanting to comment on the cost of enmity in this way but, at some point, the plot needs to shift and change needs to happen. We've spent the whole season just spiraling down.
