@ButcherBoy415 Disagree. I don’t think the BA stuff is a distraction. I think the team has moved on and now it’s only about ensuring a competitor doesn’t get a full offseason with him. It only comes up because the media talks about it whenever he posts. No one on the 49ers says anything.
@valkyries You built something amazing in Year 1. Lots of momentum going into Year 2. That said, how the draft and now the waiving of Marta has been handled is unacceptable and disappointing. The fact the GM will not speak shows a lack of transparency to fans. Not a good start.
@957thegame@slubman59@MorningRoast957 Why is this even an issue? Holding onto BA has zero negative impact. There’s no bad vibe. This is literally only something the media cares about because they have nothing to write about. Niners lose nothing by holding onto him right now. The potential gain is low, but it’s there.
@Coach_Yac Hilarious, because TJ was the same clown on showing up on 95.7 The Game talking about how the Niners needed to bend over backwards for BA, when he was a free agent. Funny how the tune changed. I wonder if BA is still employing TJ.
@LombardiHimself Completely agree… but if it takes Frank waiting for our fan base to finally see Roger Craig get in, I’ll take that trade off. #33 waited long enough.
@Chase_Senior Completely agree with this. Kyle is a great coach. Best they’ve had since Walsh. However, Seattle, the Rams, and Philly will continue to stand in the Niner’s way. How Kyle and Lynch counterattack, going forward, is what’s important. They can’t stand pat and hope folks get healthy
@timkawakami Moving on from Kyle would be idiotic. Bear coach since Walsh. However, there have been areas of worry (draft, injuries, struggles with certain defenses, etc). It will be interesting to see what Kyle/Lynch do next to counter Seattle, Philly, and Rams.
@LombardiHimself Honestly, it’s good to have this perspective. As fans we got greedy when we saw the wins pile up, but honestly, going into the season after a roster purge, I didn’t expect to make the playoffs. It’s ok for us to want more, but this really was a better than expected season.
@mattbarrows Hey Matt, what are the chances that the 49ers bring in some fresh perspectives on things the the draft, injuries, style of play philosophy, etc. Kyle and Lynch have been great and should stay, but new voices that complement them could be what is needed to put them over the hump.
@MaioccoNBCS Kyle and Lynch have been really good, but Jed really needs to convince them that it’s time to bring in different voices and perspectives to complement and add to what they’ve built. This regime’s approach to the draft and some of their offensive philosophies need to change.
@NinerNick_22 I honestly don’t care about BA and his antics anymore. He’s not a part of the team anymore. He’s doing this for attention. Let’s stop posting and talking about him. He’s wasted enough of our time over the past 2 years.
