Those who celebrate it, do they celebrate it as something from the customs and traditions or as part of getting closer to Allah and means of gaining rewards?
The answer without any doubt is that they are doing this to get closer to Allah which makes it a form of worship.
This is a clear innovation that was not done by the prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam, it wasn’t done by the companions, the tab’een or the tab’ee tab’een who are the favorite 3 generations.
If it wasn’t done by them, those who insist on doing it consider themselves more righteous and knowledgable than them, may Allah protect us!
I would rather be with the prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam and his companions than anyone else!
