Honestly, platforms like @RallyOnChain work because they take this same idea and apply it to things far beyond money.
Rules first.
Humans second.
And somehow that creates more trust, not less.
I think smart contracts are one of the most badly explained ideas in crypto.
People say things like "contracts on the blockchain" and somehow manage to make a simple idea sound terrifying.
I am going to tell you the version that finally made it click for me!
@RallyOnChain
See you on the other side.
Love, Your future self.
Curious how many people around @RallyOnChain would write a similar letter to an earlier version of themselves.
To the version of me that thought there was still plenty of time,
You really didn't listen to me very often.
And honestly, now I can see the version of life that might have existed if you had.
I told you more than once that we should move to the capital.
@RallyOnChain
I have a feeling something good is still making its way toward us.
So this isn't a letter full of regrets.
It's a letter to say I understand why you made the choices you made.
And that we're still here.
Still building.
Still moving.
Still continuing the road.
And somewhere in the crowd there'll be a very proud older brother pretending not to be emotional about it.
Love you, kid.
From your big brother.
Curious how many people around @RallyOnChain still have a letter like this sitting unsent somewhere in their head.
Dear little brother,
These years haven't been easy on you.
You carried more than most people ever saw. You worked hard, stood back up when life knocked you down and slowly built a life you could call your own.
I tried my best to be there for you through all of it.
@RallyOnChain
I know these years apart were probably harder than either of us likes to admit.
But I also know something else.
One day people are going to know your name.
And when they say it, they'll say it with respect.
Maybe even with admiration.
Then I'd probably end with this:
Now ask me whatever you want about it.
And always remember that your dad is right here if you ever want to understand how any of this works.
Curious how people around @RallyOnChain explain blockchain to kids.
If I ever had to explain blockchain to my future 10 year old son, I'd probably say something like this:
Look buddy, imagine our city has lots of schools.
Normally, when you get a math grade, only your teacher has it written down in her notebook.
Now imagine something different.
And replace your grades with the balances in our bank accounts.
That's basically the first brick of blockchain.
A giant shared notebook that lots of people hold together so everyone can verify what's true and spot when someone tries to cheat.
