What can BlockRemit do?
A lot of people have used the BockRemit app in the past 2 days, and have still not discovered its true power. Let's take a deep dive into what it is exactly that BlockRemit can do!

Hey there $REMIT fam. We have successfully onboarded the developer agency for the development of our V2. While we are under NDA at the moment and cannot reveal the name until we close properly, we hope to begin development as soon as Tuesday next week.
We will try to push the project and platform with the V2 release however and make something of what is left of this project. Thank you for your patience.
What's happening BlockRemit fam? We're almost done with the development of our V2 platform, which we hope can turn the trajectory of our platform and project as a whole. We are aware of how the silence has impacted a lot of users in the past few days. This could not be helped.
The burden this project has put on the team and myself personally has been nothing short of extraordinary. From flying high to no one wanting to touch it. We had deals with various influencers where we paid between $5k and $20k before the crash, and they left without supporting.

We’re pleased to inform you that we’ve sorted out ALL the bugs that have been reported. We will push these updates on Monday, and then the second round of testing will commence!
We hope to have a full V2 release by October 30th.

The first tranche of feedback for our new V2 Alpha has come in, and it’s been mostly positive! As with any alpha, there are still a few bugs to iron out, which our amazing community has done a great job of pointing out. We will be working on sorting these bugs this week!

In addition, we have completely fixed the bugs in the DEX, requests and send app. Users can now use these sub-apps bug free, while we work on porting the NFT view and other sub-apps next.
$REMIT fam! We’re still very much on track to complete V2 as soon as possible! This is an update from the internal dev team on the status of the V2, as well as general updates concerning BlockRemit as a project.
Yesterday, we took the results of the poll concerning pre-staking rewards and decided to not move forward with them due to the current low volume coupled with some other factors. They will be re-instated after the launch of V2.
As for the launch of V2, it should be this month or latest early next month. The first version of V2 will be out for community testing soon, with a full launch expected in October (after rigorous bug testing by the community). The launch will of course be supported by our $400k+ war chest that we have built up in terms of marketing funds. (Not ALL the funds will be used for marketing, as has been the case since day 1 and has been clearly spelt out since day 1 also. Dev and mod payments come from the wallet also, and this has happened since day 1 of launch since the team took no tokens)

Many community members would prefer to get a share of BlockRemit’s generated revenue right now, without waiting for V2 or staking to go live. So we’re going to make that happen!
Here’s the details on how that would work:
But first, a few caveats. These are important to read, and not meeting ALL the criteria will prevent you from accessing the full value available to you.
Currently, BlockRemit generates revenue through trading taxes. There is a 5% total tax placed on all $REMIT trades, 1% of which goes to pay devs, and 4% of which goes to marketing. We will henceforth be redirecting the 1% that was previously for devs to be used to reward holders based on some certain criteria!
To sweeten the pot even more, at random days in the week four times a month, we will switch the ratios around, which means the 4% tax will be available to be shared among holders, which will be a 4x increase in revenue sharing versus using just the 1% tax.
Here are the criteria you need to meet to ensure you’re eligible to claim rewards
- you must hold $REMIT for a few days after purchase before you can start claiming rewards. This is to prevent non community members from taking part.
- unless the 4% tax is being utilized for payouts, the max cap on payouts is the total of the 1% tax collected on that specific day. No more and no less.
- a minimum of 75K $REMIT will be required before you can earn rewards.
- “association” of wallets is not allowed (ie one user using multiple wallets to game the system)
Over the next few days, we will release even more info about this new revenue sharing model. We expect it to be fully functional latest by next week.

$REMIT fam! In this tweet, we'll be going a bit deeper into the mechanics of our rewards program, and how (much) you can benefit from it.
Pending the time we upgrade to V2 and the platform becomes self-sufficient, we will be offering rewards paid out weekly in $ETH to $REMIT holders for simply holding the token. The rules are simple and can be found in the quoted tweet.
These rewards will come from our 1% daily volume tax and will be paid out weekly, every Sunday at 12am GMT+1 time. The program will be scrutinized heavily, and payouts will only be made to accounts that fulfil all the criteria listed in the quoted thread. Any attempts to game the system will lead to your address, and any others linked to it being blacklisted from the rewards program.
Rewards are paid out based on how much the project makes per day, and how much $REMIT you hold. For the first week, payouts will be made solely from generated taxes, however, if we do not make payouts greater than our desired amount, we will boost the program with and extra $10,000 from the marketing wallet every month, as a way to support the project actively.
For the rewards, no 'active' claiming is necessary as they will be sent from the marketing wallet. We hope this will incentivise and appease long-term holders of $REMIT to be patient with us as we develop the second version of our platform and hopefully turn things around positively.
