Saturday is National Secure Your Load Day! 🛻📦
Whatever you're hauling this summer, there's a proper way to secure your cargo to keep everyone on the road safe. Road debris from unsecured loads causes thousands of preventable highway crashes every year.
Here's how to do it properly. ⤵️

The WSP confirms this is a fatal investigation. Troopers say they were attempting to pull over the driver on Hwy 18 when the driver hit a guardrail and the car rolled. Several people were ejected from the car. Federal Way PD is taking over the investigation due to WSP involvement
UPDATE 4: All westbound lanes on SR 18 just east of I-5 in Federal Way remain blocked due to a collision. We are seeing two-plus miles of backup.
Emergency crews are on scene. There is no estimate on when lanes will reopen. Plan an alternate route and expect delays in the area.
Westbound I-90 near Cle Elum will remain closed for several more hours. A semi truck caught fire early this morning. Crews are mopping up & assessing bridge damage. Detour US 97.
