“Filings show that of the $1.74bn Facebook, led by Mark Zuckerberg, generated from Australian businesses in 2025, $1.51bn was immediately paid out to a related company in the Meta group overseas.
This massive transfer of cash, revealed in new financial filings, came as the company also paid a $120m dividend to its American owners and completely drained its local bank account.
It comes as the Albanese government is this week set to release its long-awaited draft legislation for its proposed crackdown on digital platforms that fail to compensate news publishers for the use of their content.”

In all the teeth gnashing over the budget, I didn’t see the elephant in the room mentioned once.
Multinational profit shifting is bleeding this country dry.
Yet rather than do something about it Albanese is doing the media’s bidding by arguing the media should be paid, when in fact it’s Australian taxpayers that should be compensated by Facebook etc for the use of our telecommunications infrastructure and databases. Ie the people
The ATO needs to stop attacking small businesses and start going after the big corporations who are literally stealing billions of dollars from Australia.
Facebook derives its income from advertising in Australia. If both the advertisers and customers are here in Australia then the source of the income should be deemed to be derived in Australia and taxed here not offshore.
You can tell Meta are screwing us by looking at their worldwide accounts. In 2024 their worldwide operating profit ratio was 42% yet in Australia it was less the 14%, one third of their worldwide income.
Why isn’t the ATO using our transfer pricing laws to stop over inflated payments to related entities.
People First is the only political party to have a policy to stop profit shifting.
We will lift the withholding tax rate on profits sent offshore to retain our profits here in Australia.

I am absolutely devastated
Men who claim to be women have more rights than actual women in Australia.
It is women who are being discriminated against, not the men who claim to be us.
But in a sense, nothing has changed: we will all wake up tomorrow & men will still not be women.

Everything we were told violated basic medical science.
You don’t mass vaccinate during a respiratory pandemic.
Cloth masks don’t stop a 0.1 micron virus.
Early treatments were known.
Doctors knew this.
And many still complied—because medicine was politicized.
That’s when trust was broken.

It’s absolutely perfect…
A liberal man in NYC yelling about how everyone is welcome, as a Muslim man yells "Allahu Akbar!" and uses him as a literal springboard to throw a homemade bomb.

Urgent. Iran women's football team bus is at the hotel. I have credible evidence women wishing to claim asylum have been prevented from accessing a human rights lawyer. Watch, listen, share.

The members of the Iranian Women’s National Football Team are under significant pressure and ongoing threat from the Islamic Republic. As a result of their brave act of civil disobedience in refusing to sing the current regime’s national anthem, they face dire consequences should they return to Iran.
I call on the Australian government to ensure their safety and give them any and all needed support.
After two months of investigating the NDIS, @DrewPavlou and I finally got the all clear from the lawyers.
The exposé drops in 2 hours.

“The Australian National University (ANU) is one of the nation’s key purveyors of immigration propaganda.
Jill Sheppard, a senior lecturer at the ANU School of Politics and International Relations, let the mask slip on the latest ANU Democracy Sausage Episode when she argued that donations and lobbying from big business on immigration are a “good thing” because they sway politicians to keep immigration high against the wishes of Australian voters, who overwhelmingly want lower immigration.
Essentially, what Sheppard has said is: “Screw what voters actually want. They don’t matter. Politicians should represent the lobbying interests of Big Business”.
Sheppard has confirmed that the ANU is an open-borders migration cult that will say anything to keep the numbers flowing.”

Another example of how the “elites” don’t respect the will of the people, this time in regard to immigration.
Big business has formed an unholy alliance with universities and superannuation funds that avoids scrutiny by shareholders and the public.
This is happening because none of these institutions hold democratic elections.
My previous post touched on how the major parties use the taxpayer to fund them instead of being accountable to its members.
Superannuation funds have grown so large they now control corporations, who along with governments, fund universities.
Because superannuation boards don’t hold elections, people have no say in who runs superannuation funds or the companies they control.
The same goes for University boards that are also selected, instead of elected by students.
Because higher immigration means more customers and more profit, big business and universities support high immigration, despite the public being against it.
Until such time as public funding for political parties is cancelled and compulsory superannuation is abolished, taxpayer money will continue to be weaponised against the people.

“Commonwealth Bank has laid off hundreds of workers in Australia and launched a hiring spree in India just weeks after recording a $5billion profit.
The bank increased its India-based workforce by 21 per cent to 6,788 in the year to June 2025, a 138 per cent increase since 2022.”

More bad news on the economic front today with inflation coming in higher than expected.
As usual the response from the pundits is that interest rates need to rise.
Rather than impose more austerity on hard working Australians by lowering demand isn’t it time that the Government actually looked at increasing supply by building more infrastructure to improve productivity.
Using the blunt instrument of manipulating interest rates is not solving structural imbalances in the economy including excessive government spending.
Furthermore the government needs to stop service jobs going offshore.
A week after the CBA announced another record profit, it’s been revealed they are sacking staff in Australia whilst recruiting staff in India.
The CBA employs almost 7,000 staff in India which is just intolerable.
People First intends to rectify these issues by abolishing the Indian Free Trade Agreement, restoring the Military Apprenticeship Scheme and implementing an Infrastructure Bank to fund the construction of Infrastructure.
