@Incogni13270157@mooreslawisdead Yes, the quoted 48 TOPS figure took into account Series X’s INT8 performance (too low for FSR4) but it’s also capable of doing INT4. We would be looking at 97 TOPS if MS was to develop an INT4 version of FSR4 but considering that they abandoned DirectML, that doesn’t seem likely.
@ControlRemedy@remedygames I would love it if the team would implement an optional “turbo mode” that increases the game’s overall speed by 20% to 50% outside of cutscenes for Control Resonant, preferably separate from any potential existing speed modifier that I can unlock during playthrough.
@ControlRemedy@playpausephoto I really hope you made it possible for console users to freely select which of the three HDR presets in the in-game menu, instead of hiding option in the config file like you did the PC version.
@RainWorldGame Please add 120fps/120Hz support to the PS5 version. No reason why it should be capped at 60Hz like the PS4 version. The game obviously doesn’t have problem with high frame rate when the PC version operates at 1000+fps with no problem.
@expedition33 Please, please add 120Hz toggle for the PS5 version! My 120Hz display suffers more latency when forced to display in 60Hz mode. Even just 30fps (1/4 refresh) and 60fps (1/2 refresh) at 120Hz would help significantly (though I would like to have a 40fps mode too.)
@SandfallGames Please, please add 120Hz toggle for the PS5 version! My 120Hz display suffers more latency when forced to only display at 60Hz. Even just 30fps (1/4 refresh) and 60fps (1/2 refresh) at 120Hz would help significantly (though I would like to have a 40fps mode too.)
@RisaAsakaze@alanwake The wonderful thing about options is that you can always not choose it. I’m simply proposing they add more options here, especially since the new Performance mode can’t even hold 60fps.
@HardwareUnboxed I believe 2 years ago, you reviewed the 12GB version of 2060? I think it would be fascinating to compare 12GB 2060 to the officially recommended 8GB 2060 Super for minimum specs.
@N_X_G would you be interested to look into how much power does a PS4 title patched with current-gen enhancement draw vs regular PS5 title on the base 5 vs 5 Pro? Also, how much do you think this would meaningfully affect audience in UK and Europe where electricity is expensive?
@N_X_G@PlayStationUK Most outlets are probably gonna focus heavily on games with dedicated Pro enhancement patch, but I personally am more interested in what the Pro’s boost mode can bring to the table.
