Performances of the Scylla and Charybdis chapter of Ulysses will start at 2pm and 2.30pm on Bloomsday, 16th June in the Main Reading Room at the National Library of Ireland, Kildare Street.
Colm O’Regan will be this year’s host at Bloomsday Festival’s flagship event “Readings and Songs” at Meeting House Square in Temple Bar, free, 3pm – 6pm on 16 June 2026.

The National Library of Ireland’s beautiful Reading Room, which is the setting of Episode 9 ‘Scylla and Charybdis’ in Ulysses, will be open to the public 6-8pm on Bloomsday, Tuesday, 16th June. There are also wonderful events on that day too.

The Irish Jewish Museum will host two events for the Bloomsday Festival. On 14th June at 10.30am, we will be open for drop-in visits. On 15th June at 1pm, we will lead a tour about the Jewish history of Dublin during James Joyce’s time.
