@JamesMac_Fit In my opinion the toughest part is both parents trying to stay off their phones in front of the kids. An hour of TV ok if you need a break to hold their attention for a bit. No small screens. Got to avoid scrolling and X in front of them. But ya don’t give the kid a small screen

@ManitobaSAO Like right now I am eating more chicken than beef. You aren’t saving money grilling a steak at home, buy chicken. It’s all of these difficult choices and sacrifices. I’m a millennial, it has not been easy. There are systemic issues holding people back but don’t discount choices.

@ManitobaSAO The coffee and lunch arguments are just pieces of the bigger picture. Concert tickets, traveling, drugs (for some), time spent scrolling, gatorades from 711 instead of Walmart. Those things do add up. Student debt and also a cultural problem of making degrees necessary.
