🍃 We’re sharing our love of fieldwork each week with a different resource! This #FieldworkFriday we are showcasing our spiralised fieldwork resources, created in partnership with @The_GA to help teachers of all age groups.
The resources are divided into two strands – techniques and themes – and each set traces a spiral progression pathway so that every time a pupil engages with this knowledge, they build on what they have done before.🌀
However, they also work as standalone resources, providing an idea of what high-quality fieldwork might look like for each key stage.
🗺️ Here we’ve shared one of the technique sets which is to help teachers carry out mapping techniques as part of fieldwork. Explore the resource for lessons by key stage:

A new addition to GA Blog.
Our very own Jon Cannell has written this article titled 'You are a great real word geographer'.
In this article, Jon reflects on why many primary school teachers feel a lack of confidence when teaching geography, despite the fact that geography is deeply embedded in everyday life and experiences.
