2 days ago I married my best friend in the world. It was an incredible and beautiful day surrounded by our closest friends and family, and even our dogs.

Kelly and I have been together for 9.5 years.

She is my best friend in the world and has taught me so much about myself, the world, herself and more.

No one makes me feel as loved as she does. No one makes me laugh as much as she does.

She’s the most caring, protective, loyal, and understanding person I’ve ever met and will ever know. She has made me a better person and continues to do so every day. She has accepted me and all my flaws which only encourages me to continue to try and be a better and better person for her.

I cannot fathom a life without her in it and I never want to. She is my soul mate and I cannot wait to spend the rest of forever with her.

She is the most beautiful person in every way possible. I love you forever, Kelly Wine.

Alright I’m still in a bit of shock but want to keep you all updated. A few weeks ago I went in to a dermatologist for an annual skin/mole check that Jess proactively scheduled for me. There was a mole on the bottom of my foot that they wanted to remove just to be careful. It came back as melanoma, but they are optimistic that we caught it in the early stages. I had another dark spot appear near it, so today they biopsied that and removed a larger area around the melanoma with the hopes that under the microscope they will see clear non-melanoma edges and we will know we got it. I’m grateful to have hope in finding this early, but please take this as a PSA to get skin checkups.
