Russia is building a new military base near the Finnish border - the first one in decades.

The facility is being constructed near Petrozavodsk and is expected to house between 4,000 and 6,000 troops.

Satellite imagery has already revealed a headquarters building, a drill ground, and around a dozen barracks. In total, more than 50 infrastructure facilities are planned.

Analysts suggest that a new motorized rifle brigade - or even a division - could be stationed there.

This is no longer just a strike. It is the total destruction of the Russian fleet in the Black Sea.

Ukrainian special services reportedly carried out an operation that surpassed even the legendary "Web" operation. Guided bombs mounted on underwater drones allegedly struck all key Crimean ports simultaneously. Explosions echoed one after another. Ships caught fire and sank. The Russians had no time to react — the attack was massive, lightning-fast, and completely unexpected.

According to preliminary reports, significantly more vessels were destroyed than initially reported. Among them were large landing ships, missile corvettes, reconnaissance vessels, and support ships. Fires and secondary explosions have reportedly continued for several hours. Thick black smoke is said to be rising over Sevastopol, Feodosia, and other ports.
