Since 2021, we’ve been building Java tooling for Cardano under @BloxBean.
It started with the off-chain SDK Cardano Client Lib, and everything else grew from there.
Here’s a short video of the journey so far 👇
All open source, MIT licensed: https://t.co/YxQPjo2rrR

Know Java? Then you already know how to build on Cardano.
No new language.
No new toolchain.
Same Maven, same tests.
All open source via @BloxBean.
We've put together a guide for Java devs who want to build on Cardano. Your first dApp is not far away: https://t.co/td3iU9slUT

Meet Yano — a Cardano data node written in Java, powered by Yaci.
Run it as a data node, embed it as a library, and test against it in Java and JavaScript. One node, many ways to build. ⬇️

Cardano's full on-chain history is now much easier to explore.
@BloxBean's new Analytics Store, built with Cardano Foundation support, gives anyone an easy way to get accurate Cardano data.
Query the chain on a laptop. No node, no indexer, no database.

Unfortunately, the @BloxBean Java Tools proposal did not reach the required voting threshold.
A big thank you to all the DReps who voted Yes and supported the proposal, as well as those who voted No or Abstain after taking the time to review it.
While the proposal was not successful, I don't want to go over the reasons again in this post. The level of support, especially over the last two days, was incredibly encouraging. It means a lot.
With continued support from @Cardano_CF, we will continue building and maintaining these tools. However, some of the work that was made possible by last year's funding may be impacted.
We remain committed to improving the Cardano developer ecosystem and will continue contributing as an open-source project.

Thanks to the DReps who have voted YES so far for the BloxBean Java Tools Maintenance Proposal.
Still evaluating the proposal or haven't voted yet?

Bringing #Cardano to the Java world! ☕️⛓️
Great energy at @jcon_conference in Cologne! We are showing devs how to leverage Java stacks to build powerful decentralized apps on a blockchain built to last.
Watch the highlights below to see the bridge between enterprise dev and Web3.
UVerify does now have a sandbox under https://t.co/jaEXxyBxWc.
A local devnet using yano node and local explorer using yaci viewer.
Did you know that yano can even travel in time, create and restore from snapshots and provoke rollups for testing?

Excited to attend @jcon_conference and connect with the Java community ☕
It’s inspiring to see how Java-based tooling like @BloxBean is expanding access to Cardano development and empowering more developers to build in the ecosystem. Stop by the Cardano booth and say hello!
1. 🚀 Cardano Client Lib 0.8.0-preview1 is out! Our most feature-packed release yet, making Cardano off-chain development in Java/Kotlin/Scala easier than ever.

There's a developer tool on Cardano called yaci-devkit, by @BloxBean / @satran004.
Several years ago I gave it a try, and had a terrible experience, and bounced off it.
Recently, I've been giving it another shot, and it's come a long way! I've gotten an incredible amount of use out of it in the last few weeks. Huge props to them and their community for sticking with it and building something genuinely useful and easy to use.
Slowly but surely, the developer experience on Cardano is improving :)
Cardano Rosetta Java v2.0.0 is now live. ⚙️
This release introduces major upgrades to Cardano’s exchange integration stack.
Robust foundation. More reliability. ~30% faster sync.

After 5 beta releases last year, Yaci Store 2.0.0 is finally here! 🚀
If you’re already using Yaci Store, it’s time to plan your migration to v2.0.0.
It comes in different flavors:-
- Out-of-the-box indexer for on-chain data + derived ledger state (rewards, governance, etc.)
- Customize, extend, or filter with plugins (JS, MVEL)
- Embed it as a Java library in your own applications
