BackTrack and Kali gave me a home for fifteen years. @exegogol gave me a system for building homes on demand.

New post: Why I left Kali for Exegol — and how I turned it into a portable offensive ops platform.

@HackingLZ Just wait till your laying in bed and you hear one fall from the ceiling and hit the fan…jump out of bed and start hunting 😂

Root cause: VMware routes mouse input by its own monitor layout. Kali's differs, so clicks hit the wrong screen. Mirroring is separate: the 2nd screen needs a reset after it connects.

Two monitors, one Kali VM: one screen mirrored or black, clicks landing a full screen from the cursor.

Fix: match VMware's monitor layout, then reset the 2nd screen. One command, no root. XFCE + KDE Wayland.

Microsoft patched PetitPotam in their latest update, EFSRPC now validates shares locally, killing WebDAV coercion
💀

Added a check to NetExec’s enum_cve module to detect if a host already has the fix (CVE-2026-102217), so you can quickly spot what’s still exploitable 🔥

[OpenCode @opencode]

We had a security breach last night related to a large scale distillation attack that impacted 1.4% of OpenCode Console users

We have notified them all this morning via email. If you did not get an email you were not impacted, it was a subset of users who had external providers linked

The incident is ongoing so we cannot share more details at this point but we are working with Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google to remediate

@HackingLZ Sick man! For the longest time I thought Colion owned it lol

We got ATF guidance before GTA VI 🤨

@HackingLZ @ustayready Arguably there’s a tougher approval process for me to go through though…the wifey 🤣

Man Codex and I used to be in sync and now I’m finding myself never going with the “recommended” options in plan mode using Astra…

[Brennan Turner @BLTSEC]

@HackingDave Not unpopular to me! I was literally telling my coworkers this morning Feb-Mar this year with Opus 4.6 was perfect. I’m not trying to pretend I need anything better than that for the work I do. Frustrating to have these “better” models with more bloat and less functionality

[Chad Bird @birdchadlouis]

Samson was the size of an NFL lineman or one of those massive guys, like Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson or Brian Shaw, champions of the World's Strongest Man competition. Mountains of muscle.

Well, no. Quite the opposite, probably.

Samson was likely about 5'6" and 135 pounds. Give or take. About the average size of an adult male in his time. Why? Because no one could figure out the source of his incredible strength.

I mean, come on, if Samson were 6'8" and 375 pounds, do you really imagine the Philistines needed Delilah to “seduce him, and see where his great strength lies” (Judg. 16:5)? It would have been as plain as day.

So, sorry, but most those Sunday School pictures of Samson are wrong.

Samson’s strength was from above, a gift from God. His long, uncut hair symbolized his Nazirite calling (Judg. 13:5; 16:17), but his hair was not magical. Again and again, Judges tells us the true source of his power: “The Spirit of the LORD rushed upon him” (Judg. 14:6, 19; 15:14).

His strength came from outside himself.
His weakness came from inside himself.

There’s something deeply Christian about that.

A saying attributed to Augustine puts it this way: “O Lord, everything good in me is due to you. The rest is my fault.”

To the extent that I lust, am self-indulgent, and self-absorbed, like Samson, that is on me. To the extent that I love, serve, give, and fight for what is right, also like Samson, that is a gift from God and a work of his Spirit in me.

That is why we live a Romans 7 kind of life, in this tug-of-war, pulled one way by our sin and another way by the Spirit.

And that is why we rejoice with Paul: “Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!” (Rom. 7:24–25).

Thanks be to God that in our Samson-like lives, when we make a royal mess of things, the hair of our heads begins to grow again (Judg. 16:22). We are brought to repentance, and Jesus Christ our Lord is always there, his blood providing atonement for us.

Our failures are ours. Our salvation is his.

[Brennan Turner @BLTSEC]

@HackingLZ Haha yeah it was nice to feel it and smell it…been too long!
