@NewsWire_US I love being forced to subsidize the broken business model of legacy manufacturers and dealers while companies like Waymo parade Chinese EVs around major cities with seemingly no limitations 🙃
Just something I was thinking on the last few days after finally getting the chance to try Marathon.
I did some light searching and I don’t *think* anyone’s tried this yet even in older Extraction shooters.
If they have would love to see how it worked out!
What do you think?
I think most people write off Extraction shooters as a viable “competitive” game akin to traditional team based shooters.
Has any dev tried a tournament with a full poker-adjacent rule set as a competitive format to remedy this?
Expanded thoughts ⬇️
Most of the downsides I’ve thought of on this can be fixed by using what poker used to refine their format:
Implement a progressive ante + big/small blind system based on gear value to disincentivize frugality.
Close to elim / can’t make the ante? Go “all-in” for a final kit.
The average American is too busy trying to survive right now.
I do astrophotography and had no idea this was happening until 2 days ago.
I have a guitar I haven’t picked up in probably 6 months.
Not complaining, you just gotta be realistic about what people have time for today
You can now enable Claude to use your computer to complete tasks.
It opens your apps, navigates your browser, fills in spreadsheets—anything you'd do sitting at your desk.
Research preview in Claude Cowork and Claude Code, macOS only.

@ivanhzhao Big believer in Notion and Notion Cal.
Recently had to move away from notion mail due to QoL issues.
If you guys have a feedback channel open for that side would love to contribute and hopefully come back.
@BigSyn Yeah system design XP is a real super power w/ AI assisted programming since most folks are newer now (myself included)
I’m just paranoid about security so every fourth prompt is a security check of some kind with me to *try* and avoid this stuff.
My new team is having an amazing start to the year, and we want to be involved in the competitive gaming scene!
If you're an event manager looking for a truly global source for LED & Interactive Tech for your next tournament, we should chat!

My fancy bed with pressure settings has a small hole. I haven’t slept well for the better part of a week.
The manufacturer’s solution: $$$ for parts + repairs that I don’t have.
Instead, I pointed my @openclaw at a community API and about 1 hour later my bed was fixed!
Always a please to join the folks @LogitechG!

As a hobbyist that was struggling with manual context/memory management to setup a custom Claude code agent it’s exactly what I needed.
My biggest challenge now is beating Claude’s Pro limits 😭
