The GOP promised to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse. Instead, they seem to spend most of their time chasing conspiracy theories, fighting culture wars, renaming airports, and focusing on everything except the pain Americans are actually feeling. Gas prices. Grocery bills. Insurance costs. Energy bills. Housing affordability. The things that hit families every single day.

At this point, the biggest waste, fraud, and abuse might be the campaign promises themselves. Meanwhile, the deficit keeps growing, spending keeps rising, and those promises keep disappearing.

If this is what “fiscal responsibility” looks like, I’d hate to see irresponsibility.
