#Update: Eritrean Blue Revolution Front is Going to Hold a Landmark Conference in Addis Ababa to Unite Pro-Democracy Forces Against Afwerki’s Despotic Rule.
Eritrean Blue Revolution Front (EBRF) — a pro-democracy movement opposed to President Isaias Afwerki’s despotic rule — is holding its first major conference on November 15, 2025 in Addis Ababa, with delegates from 13 countries representing Brigade N’Hamedu (Blue Revolution).
This landmark gathering marks a turning point in uniting Eritrea’s democratic opposition forces to operate openly across the Horn of Africa, spreading a message of freedom, justice, and national renewal.
As the political wing of the Blue Revolution, EBRF seeks to build a strong diplomatic network and use both conventional and digital media to connect with Eritreans at home and in exile.
The movement openly declares the PFDJ regime as the architect of the people’s suffering and envisions a new era of cooperation with Ethiopia — one built on shared values of democracy, peace, and prosperity for the region.

#EBRF in Addis Ababa leadership continue to engage Eritrean youth in Addis Ababa; We continue to maintain momentum.
Building a robust base close to our border is imperative to our struggle; Our message is strong and it’s galvanizing the youth against the regime; our network and messaging are expanding within the boundaries of Eritrea.
If your goal is to achieve Regime change and democratize Eritrea, then #EBRF is the only choice. @CmaDawit@BereketKahsai1@EGerasouli35992@TiborPNagyJr

History teaches us that the Eritrean regime tends to behave in a certain way when it feels threatened.

Diplomatic Week of the Month, as every September, world leaders gather at #UN HQs in #NewYork for General Assembly, EBRF haunts Eritrea 🇪🇷 regime, with every lever we can get.
What began 3 months ago as something of a joke when EBRF launched its improbable mission will reach the international arena, UN. Together, #EBRF voices will also be there, appear to make a case, present its claim towards the region's future, advance the people of Eritrea's welfare, and discuss solutions to the shared challenges.
