🚨💣 Jürgen Klopp addressing the German public during his introductory press conference as the new Bundestrainer:
“I’m not doing this job for myself. I’m doing it for you. I’m taking this job even though I’ve seen how you’ve treated Julian Nagelsmann. I’m taking it even though I’ve seen how you’ve treated Thomas Tuchel.
If you go after my family, I’m gone. If you think I’m rubbish, tell me to my face and I’ll leave immediately, without asking for any compensation.”

🚨🇩🇪 Jurgen Klopp: “When we ask in Germany: are we as good as France? And the answer is no, that's not true. The question should be: do we have players like: Dembélé, Mbappé, Doué, Barcola? The answer is no. But we still can beat them”.
“It's not important to look at France, Spain, Argentina. The most important thing is to look at ourselves and how we play football. We aren't number one in the world at the moment, that's true”.
“There are 11 nations ahead of us in the ranking - but we have to make beating them possible, with the way we play football”, says via @iMiaSanMia.
All of Argentina weaknesses this tournament become useless the moment you decide to sit back against them.
Messi’s regression physically will not matter. Their lack of true last line threat which often means they struggle to pin teams back will not matter. Their central progression issues will not matter. You place them in the best position possible for them to succeed.
Can’t comprehend this change from Tuchel.
This is actually one of the worst VAR decisions I've ever seen.
You're literally taught to step across the defender & protect the ball, from being a kid.
Spence didn't initiate contact, look to go down early, he simply got in front of his man and was penalised for it.
Yes of course he did … selectively chose parts of what tuchel said, to curate a response …
What a delight our media are and all its creations revel in manipulated, diminishing outcomes.
What a winning mentality that is ..
Gabriel Clarke’s two interviews with Thomas Tuchel and Jude Bellingham were dreadful. Tuchel was very clear in his praise for England’s strength of character but he wasn’t happy with the performance. Clarke failed to understand Tuchel’s mentality comments. He then gave a misleading follow up to Bellingham which suggested to Bellingham that Tuchel was unhappy with the team. Unnecessarily disruptive and the wrong context of interviewing in two separate interviews.

Bang on. Yet again tryna cause division when it should be a celebration. Why can’t we all just drop our agendas etc and just back them. We all want the same outcome ffs.
