Very sad news.
Chad Lowe and his wife Kim have announced the passing of their 13-year-old daughter, Fiona.
Their statement via People:
“We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona. She was a loving young girl who was smart, creative, and loved to dance. She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives. Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time. If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, please reach out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.”
This tribute by Randy Travis has me bawling 😭 ❤️
Dolly,
From our hearts to the throne of glory, we release one of our greatest angels….our butterfly, Dolly.
I’ve been blessed to know many wonderful folks throughout my career in country music; but, none quite like you, Dolly. You had a way of making everyone around you feel most important. Your kindness was genuine, your faith strong, your humor lit up a room, and that beautiful heart of yours was even bigger than the remarkable voice the world fell in love with.
I’ll always be grateful for the memories, the conversations, the laughs, and the goodness you showed me through the years—especially during the chapters of my life when your encouragement meant more than you probably ever knew.
You gave country music some of its sweetest memories and most iconic songs; but, you gave the world something greater…yourself. And, you gave it all! Now, it’s your turn to dance with Carl—
Thank you for showing all of us how to carry success with grace and how to use the gifts God gave us to bless others. Your mission to make people happy and lift them up while glorifying God, is complete. You have planted so many trees under whose shade you will never sit… you have made this world a better place. There will never be another you, Dolly.
Rest peaceful, my sweet friend, until we meet again…and, next time, I’ll be sneaking up on you!
I will always love you… forever and ever, Amen—
Randy Travis

“Light of a Clear Blue Morning" by Dolly Parton featuring Lainey Wilson, Miley Cyrus, Queen Latifah and Reba McEntire.
LYRICS:
It's been a long dark night
And I've been a waitin' for the morning It's been a long hard fight
But I see a brand new day a dawning
I've been looking for the sunshine You know I ain't seen it in so long
But everything's gonna work out just fine And everything's gonna be all right
That's been all wrong
I can see the light of a clear blue morning
I can see the light of a brand new day
I can see the light of a clear blue morning Everything's gonna be all right
It's gonna be okay
It's been a long long time
Since I've known the taste of freedom And those clinging vines
That had me bound, well I don't need 'em, no I've been like a captured eagle, you know an eagle's born to fly
Now that I have won my freedom, like an eagle l am eager for the sky
I can see the light of a clear blue morning
I can see the light of brand new day
I can see the light of a clear blue morning Everything's gonna be all right
It's gonna be okay
Cause I can see the light of a clear blue morning
I can see the light of brand new day
I can see the light of a clear blue morning Everything's gonna be all right
It's gonna be okay
Everything's gonna be all right
It's gonna be okay

It’s been a really busy season and I’m so grateful for how this community has shown up to support me. Today, I’m asking for your support for MY community. You may not know, but my mom grew up in in Savanna-La-Mar, Jamaica, and earlier this fall, Hurricane Melissa blew through and caused catastrophic damage across the island.
I’m proud to introduce you to Project HOPE, a global health and humanitarian organization who had boots on the ground immediately after the hurricane and are still there today. Their team set up and runs a field hospital and delivers healthcare and clean water to remote communities who need it while beginning the task of rebuilding.
I hope you'll join me in supporting Project HOPE and the amazing people of Jamaica by donating using the QR code or link in my bio. Thank you again for the support! @projecthopeorg

Anthony Hopkins, 87, celebrates 50 years of sobriety.
“50 years ago today I was nearly killed. I drove my car in a drunken blackout- that’s the way it was but I realized at that point I was having too much fun. It was called alcoholism.”
@DrewHardberger@on3@clowfb Look back at 2000, we only had 2 players (1 offense and 1 defense)on the all American team, but we won the National Championship. We might just do it again.
@aaft_84@GabeIkard So, 21 pt win in SEC title game, Georgia beat Shorthorns by 25, Bama gave Georgia there only loss in Georgia and Oklahoma beats Bama in Tuscaloosa. Hmmmmm…next year Shorthorns.
Courtland Guillory won’t be an NFL cornerback for another two seasons at least, but he’s already got the NFL cornerback social media persona down pat. What a dawg.
51 years ago today: The 1974 Sooners capped off a perfect season with a 44-13 win over OSU.
Joe Washington had one of the most incredible punt return TD’s in OU history during the game.
The ‘74 team would later be awarded the national championship, after outscoring teams 473-92.
