The Abergavenny Valleys Classic Road Race hosted Round 2 of the Wales & West Midlands Cup this weekend, marking the first Welsh round of the 2026 series. โก
With great conditions and a fast, flat course, racing was high-paced from the start, with a strong field of both returning and established riders putting on an exciting show. ๐ด
Matt Wales took the win with a strong solo move, finishing 11 seconds clear, while Kyle Jones and Josh Hall sprinted for the remaining podium places, and Evan Powell secured 4th with a solid ride. ๐
Congratulations to all riders who took part in a fantastic day of racing. ๐
Also, a big thank you to Tiny Rebel for supporting the podium prizes. ๐

Thank you @CardiffAjaxCC for a fantastic showing at the Betty Pharoah Memorial! Stoked to be able to showcase this level of racing now and hopefully help draw more eyeballs to the U.K. scene๐๐ผ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ

@RoadmanCycling @bucko2c@stagescycling Every time the battery was dead on the pod it wouldnโt re connect after changing it, Garmin would just send me a new pod no questions asked so Iโve always assumed it was a fault they knew about!
