Dear Governor @GavinNewsom,

I recently learned about SB 54, a California law that now requires my small business in Kentucky to register with your state because of the packaging used to ship products to California customers. In other words, your government now claims regulatory authority over how a Kentucky business packages products in Kentucky, with the threat of fines if I don’t comply.

And if my packaging doesn’t meet California’s standards, I can be required to change it, pay additional fees, or face enforcement

I just wanted to take a moment here, publicly, to let you know that you and your legislature can get bent. I’m not registering with your state, and I will continue to ship products to the decent people in California who have to live with a twatwaffle like yourself as governor.

Also, no KRS for you.
