In a tragic twist, Maharashtra is rapidly expanding construction of water-guzzling huge Data Centres even as 75% of the state is now officially declared drought-struck.
Strange times really.

@soamjena I met a friend from Bangalore yesterday who has grown up in Mumbai living in my building. We both never felt the desire to leave India. We had a conversation about where in India, can we get a good, peaceful, quality life. We couldn’t figure. India is getting worse by the day.
@MilkTFT Not all of Europe is rich. They aren’t getting any richer. They manufacture quite a bit. Multiple car brands. Many manufacturing machines like printing, carton manufacturing, plastic manufacturing, even newspaper printing machines which are massive are from MAN Roland.
@JPChinsolo Absolutely correct, however, the iPhone does say something about you. I had read somewhere that in a survey, majority people said that they’re more comfortable around a stranger who has an iPhone vs a stranger who has an android phone. It’s quite misleading.
If Indian parents stopped financially supporting their children after graduation tomorrow, the streets would expose a crisis no government is prepared for.
Millions of young adults survive because their parents quietly fund their education, housing, food, healthcare, marriages and even unemployment.
Indian parents don’t just raise children.
They subsidise society.
Governments and society should acknowledge how much this invisible family support system actually holds India together.
@jaydenstech I was considering the same but then I sat down to delete useless photos & videos. It takes time but I ended up cleaning almost 30gb of photos / videos. Now my phone has 50gb free!
One thing needs to be fixed.
You enter your mobile number just to check insurance plans and premiums.
Then the calls begin. Non stop.
Its damn irritating. 😭
Why should entering a number give them a licence to call you?
