@BookFusionHQ I’m thinking about switching to Book Fusion from Apple Books. Is there a way for the progress bar to show pages remaining in the book as well as in the chapter? I like to be able to see both as I go. Thanks!

I was ready for a #Babylon5 rewatch, and happened to find @lastbestb5. It took a Month of Strife to catch up, but all those San Pellegrinos, sex people, strange men, steamy Koshiden, and wanderers were all the better thanks to the Babylon Boys! You’re all Soulmen to me. #muffled

@OvercastFM Is it possible to have duplicate podcast streams? For example one to listen to a backlog of old episodes, and one to catch new episodes. The usecase is being able to put one in a playlist and not the other.

Those are the original 5.25” floppies (plus a copy he made for me so I didn’t mess up his game). Original box and manuals, and I have the cloth map as well. I love seeing my bro’s notes in the margins. I’m so glad it never got lost over all the moves.

This is maybe the closest thing I have to a family heirloom. Back in the day, my older brother worked at Radio Shack and got into early PC games. He couldn’t care less about games today, but his original copy of Ultima IV is something I’ll never get rid of.

Wrapped a quick #woodworking project today. A simple hairpin leg entry table. Walnut-stained maple, slatted design with a frame, water-based finish. Pretty happy with how it turned out. It was a good excuse to add a couple more clamps to the collection. 😁

You can excel at your job and find meaning in doing it, but it’s also okay if you find meaning elsewhere and treat work as a means to an end. Your employer also sees you as a means to an end, regardless of platitudes to the contrary.

Gladwell has fallen into the capitalist trap that humans must find belonging, purpose, and a sense of being part of something bigger than themselves at work. In an office. Engaging in activities that make their company profitable. I reject that premise entirely. Work is work.

Baking time! Abby always requests a dessert for her birthday, and this time she was debating between key lime pie and cheesecake. Why not both? This is a double-layer pie, key lime cheesecake on the bottom and key lime custard on top, graham cracker crust, and whipped cream.

Still not a great food photographer - nice cake carrier bottom there. 🤦‍♂️ But anyway, this turned out great. It was tricky baking both parts without burning the crust, and zesting/juicing 2 pounds of limes is a huge pain, but worth it. Great textures and sharp key lime flavor.

I’ve been wanting to get into woodworking for years, but never really had the space. I’m really proud of this TV table I built. The metal frame was upcycled, with some minor alterations, but the wood is all me. It’s far from perfect, but I’m really proud of it and learned a ton.
