☝️Correct. Connecting it the film was just a fortuitous marketing bonus albeit with some the Puzo gymnastics.

Sort of hilarious that hardly any of Puzo’s script made it into the final film. It’s Mankiewicz vision made real by Donner.

Always thought it would’ve been awesome to get Maggin and Mankiewicz in a room and listen to them riff on Superman.

Tollway tag scanners should go inactive when there is a wreck. Not pinching pennies here, but why should I pay a toll for crawling on a highway for 45 minutes? Paying to wait here.

Gotcha. Interesting. Maybe just the sheer volume of endless Batman books and the fact that he’s their unequivocal cash cow sort of forces them to keep the evolution moving. Superman has always trailed Batman financially by a sizable margin. Maybe they feel like they have to try reinventions to get the dollars?

Well today has certainly not been boring. My youngest kid just got suspended from school for 3 days.

The reason?

Another child sexually assaulted his girlfriend so my kid did what he has been instructed to do to men who do those things.

I got called in for a conference to discuss it with two middle-aged white women and my son. They tried to tell me my child did it unprovoked even though they admitted the incident occured. They then cited video evidence of my kid hunting the other kid down for 9 minutes throughout the school before finding him and choking, sweeping, and submitting him.

I laughed at them and told them my son would be rewarded because this day he proved he was becoming a good man.
