@SandyofSuffolk I have a one meal rule, you don't like it that's up to you. Also my kids have out of school activities, my son plays football and my daughter gymnastics. Teach them healthy lifestyles from young
@SandyofSuffolk We have had too many PM in last 10 years. No consistency for this country, how are we meant to succeed as a country when they change at a blink of an eye?
@SandyofSuffolk@KirstieMAllsopp agree, and when they are old enough then no phone locks, no phones in bedroom and parents are allowed to go through the phone to check it's use - till a certain age and proof they can use it sensibly
@babsphillia Never, my sister has DS and my life is wonderful. Yes it's challenging and they need life long support even the most able of people with DS, but the off set to that is they see the world differently. They a remarkable group of people who I would spend every day with if I could
@SandyofSuffolk It's sad that you post this, if you've never worked in the NHS then you won't ever understand. We work hard, we go above and beyond, juggling and coping. NHS staff don't go off sick for the money we know the people who are picking up the extra work.
@SandyofSuffolk St Lucia in December/January/February is great, long haul but don't go with BA. The food was awful last time we went with them. My kids are well behaved because I parent them!
@SandyofSuffolk I wouldn't know who James Locke is but the Maybush is lovely. I was at The Fountain in Tuddenham other day, another lovely pub in Suffolk
@kieraq78@SandyofSuffolk Only because buying a house is so out of their reach. If they could save for a few years to get a deposit they would do it. Having to save for 15 years+ for a small deposit, could you live with no fun for 15 years?
@SandyofSuffolk Youngsters will never be as well off as pensioners, they have no want to work, no idea of bills and live with relatives with no plans for the future.
@SandyofSuffolk By my gosh is it hard to juggle it all and finance children. Schools want payment for everything these days. A visit by a big red bus costs us ยฃ4, a school disco during school hours wants a contribution its endless
@SandyofSuffolk Having children today is tricky, the village is no longer there. Grandparents are reluctant to help with childcare or after school provision to allow parents to work to live. Yes dreams are bigger these days but the cost of children is a lot bigger. I have a career and children.
@Opiumbrella Family have spent so long being a carer they've forgotten how to be a wife/husband/child for the person with dementia. Being cared for by formal carers allows family to return to a family role and enjoy family time with the person
@SandyofSuffolk During half term we were out all the time, getting dirty in the mud over the park wasn't on my daughter's plan but she laughed about it. Parents should be taking kids out for fresh air, a run around and to use their imaginations
