TS Edouard is making landfall today with 40 mph winds and heavy rain. Its track aims toward Beaumont, TX. Most of its winds are on the west side of the system.

We are watching the Gulf over the next 24 hours as a large wave is starting to build and push WNW towards the LA/TX border. This system has potential to build, and NOAA gives it a 70% chance. We also have remnants of Dolly that may try to regroup down the line.

Dolly continues to baffle the models. Currently the cone has shifted to a weaker system later in the week. Let’s keep a close eye on this one.. She may use her famous Passing Out Goat move and sneak past the NINO?

Invest 96 continues to baffle the models. Now, it has increased to a 90% chance of developing. With that said, heavy wind shear along the MDR is expected to weaken this system as it pushes west.
