Just a reminder that, aside from maybe the occasional doodle, I don't post my art here anymore. Most fanarts or animations I make in the future will be posted on my bluesky and tumblr.

Looking back on this qa, I think a few things:
1. Jevil might've known what Spamton’s secret to being a big shot was. And thus he’d chide Spamton for “cheating” rather than embracing his meaningless existence.
3. The Pippins gambled with them as well. Spamton lost to them, too. That’s why he's kromerless.
And look. This is a “ketchup kid” if I’ve ever seen one
At risk of making a fool of myself, here’s my fanfic concept:
Spamton and Jevil come out of the inventory and become active participants in the narrative.
(long thread ahead)
I think by pursuing the shadow crystal quests and defeating these difficult bosses we get stronger of course, but we're also rewarded with a more complete story.
“There’s something more important than reaching the ending” may apply in several instances, including this one.
Take Undertale for example: to achieve the True Pacifist end (generally the most narratively satisfying) you’re meant to engage with the characters and seek them out. Not leveling up, which makes the game a bit harder, is ultimately worth it.
