AI images and videos can get as close as they want to looking good, but they'll never win, it's why the "it looks ugly" thing was never the point.
The point is that AI needs us artists to leech off from somewhere, without us it'll poison itself into nothing. It's a parasite.
I find it a nothingburger, & sometimes edgy, when people take issue with “I want to disappear” instead of “die.” Both are suicidal tendencies, but the two aren’t necessarily the same. Passive suicidal ideation is more common to the struggles of teens & fits the context better.
@BENZOTOOIE Humans as a collective are incapable of this because humans are scum.
Sure it'd be great to just get along and share everything but man, the 7 deadly sins really do have the entire race by the balls.
Got me agreeing with Megatron the more time passes.
@NotImportantUs1@UEVOSrune the whole idea in 1984 that people's thoughts can be changed by restricting language is absurd has been debunked by linguists for decades
just think about the phrase "i don't know how to describe what i'm feeling" and you'll realise why it wouldn't work
I watched this and I found it really interesting, I was more focused on the point of the video and how the artist did an amazing job (imo) at conveying body language, I open the comments and ppl are shitting on it bc it the art style😭😭😭
not having friends will fuck you up in the worst ways possible. like why am i being jealous seeing people talking and being friends and having a bond. why do i wish someone acted this way with me. my social anxiety and awkwardness has never let me make contacts with ppl, even now
“Passion project” devs, pls get rid of this starving artist mentality.
You can make games you are passionate about that ALSO pay the bills.
People will enjoy your art, trust.
Just put a bit more thought into how you position your game in the market.
And make it accessible.
On the topic of the new league of nine they're very obviously supposed to be fascist allegories but I really like how each one of them seems to be parodying different nazi talking points
Hot mental health take: If you're dealing with mental illness, you have to *want* to get better.
This sounds obvious and not helpful, but it comes from personal experience. To get better is to change, and change requires real, painful effort.
