Today’s a pretty significant day for me.
It’s a yearly anniversary where I take a moment to reflect.
In February 2008 whilst lying in a hospital bed a Doctor told me I’d never walk again.
June 9th 2009 was the last time I ever used a wheelchair.
It’s been a wild 17yrs and today is always a reminder to me that you should never limit yourself and always strive to create the kind of life that YOU want to live.
Grateful for all of the help, support and people that made it possible 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Joan of Arc was a courageous young woman chosen by God to help lead France during the Hundred Years’ War. Guided by voices of saints and filled with deep faith, she inspired soldiers, freed the city of Orléans, and helped bring about the coronation of King Charles VII. Though unjustly condemned and martyred at the age of 19, her holiness, bravery, and devotion to God continue to inspire people around the world. Canonized by Pope Benedict XV in 1920, she is honored as the patron saint of France and of those seeking courage and strength in trials.
St. Joan of Arc, pray for us and obtain for us the courage to follow God faithfully and face every challenge with steadfast faith.

A man passed away on Croagh Patrick, the holy mountain on Tuesday 28th April (R.I.P) 🙏🕊🕯
His brother in England would like to have contact with the people who came to his assistance and stayed with him until the rescue helicopter arrived 🙏
Yesterday Oscar had all his dreams come true. He was invited to travel down to Salthill with the Dublin team, on the team bus and celebrated beating Cancer with them. Here he is ringing the bell with them after the game yesterday. My heart is so full 💙🩵
Just under two wks post surgery. Up going again. Off all pain meds starting PT sessions, of course smiling again. CHI wouldn’t even list her for this surgery said she wasn’t able. She may have a complex disability but that doesn’t mean she’s not strong.#scoliosis#spinehealth

RIP Archie Sinclair 😢 The Young Glens 2013 player Archie Sinclair has sadly passed away. A statement from the club as follows.
GFCC is devastated to hear that Archie Sinclair, one of our 2013 players and a friend and loved one to many, has fallen asleep for the last time.
Archie fought neuroblastoma cancer to the end. A true Warrior who will be forever remembered by everyone he met. Brave, hilarious, smart and always smiling. You are forever an inspiration and we are sending all our thoughts to Paul, Joanne, Eva and the family.
A minute's silence will be held at all games over the weekend to honour Archie and his incredible life. Please attend the Glenrothes FC game at 1430 on Saturday to release balloons in his memory. All welcome
