Since my question yesterday generated a bit of talk, id like to ask #gamedev / #indiedev another problem start ups have. Scope: how can you tell its too big for your project, and how do you manage it?

Hey #gamedev and #indiedev people. Alot of new devs start with the struggle of being original (myself included), and was wondering if any experienced devs have suggestions to help ease this, and how you overcame yourself.

My prediction for 2018 is that a lot of those people saying "indie games are those small shitty things and I'd rather play my real games" will change their mind. (Might be wishful thinking, of course.)
