@AussieinJapan@PJOMC @sake_advocate @judasOIC @kurui_zaki__ My Uncle from HK totally did this in Japan, and said it was normal in HK... And I was mortified
@UNDPClimate Where is offsetting your Carbon?
It's not even that expensive to offset your entire carbon emissions every year.

@703pippa Oh no... Happened to us yesterday too. Doctor said maybe RS virus or ヒトメタ?... maybe it's going around. How about on your side? any ideas of what the illness is?
@clpearce I think usually restaurants cook better than me, but when they don't... It's sooo disappointing to have to pay for food that you could have made at home better, and cheaper. Maybe you feel the same, those look really good.
Herd immunity for COVID was a batshit crazy idea based upon assumptions only justified by wishful thinking, not science. It should never have influenced policy in the real world. It continues to cause tremendous harm.

@PhoebeAmoroso@aishiterutokyo If it's not an SSD you could try running Windows utilities like disk defragmentation etc to try to speed it up. It shouldn't be that bad that opening folders is hard.
@PhoebeAmoroso@aishiterutokyo I could be wrong but that looks like a magnetic drive? (Spinning). A SSD drive on a USB3.0 connection will run a lot faster, but is much more expensive for the storage space. Can you split things you're working on now in Lightroom to SSD space (your computer?)
@AmelieinTokyo Yep that's what we have to do in our ward... At first it was like "wow that makes disposable diapers so pointless?" but now totally don't think about it
@hizaga Miss them too! Alternate name is coconut buns, since they have butter mixed with coconut or something inside. Also miss pineapple buns, cut open fresh out of the oven and with a big slab of butter stuck in them....
@HarveyZZed @briandotjp @chub_choo I found the same as @HarveyZZed , even though my oven said it preheated, when I measured, it was a lot cooler than it said it was. Read the specs on the box of any thermometer you buy though, they're often also not very accurate (+/-15C). IR thermometer might also work.
@703pippa Sorry to make you worried 🙇🏻I kept worrying he might seizure. Today he finally looked well enough, so he went to school. The weird thing is, the whole time he usually looked pretty good, just the thermometer said otherwise. Was reassuring that he didn't seem to be in pain.
