@SteveCarrollNCG It would waste millions of pounds already spent on golf balls, plus would probably only truly affect the elite and Pro players. Far more shots lost from 10ft in though, I expect
@SteveCarrollNCG@NCG_com How about changing the CB to be counted from stroke index holes 1-9, then 1-6, 1-3, 1? It’s likely to give a better spread of HC allowance to many players plus a sample of scores throughout whole round. At moment the bias is to the higher HC
Wonderful tournament for the Lionesses. Error in the final was Bronze out of position and not passing. Jeez. Can’t explain why that happens but it’s the whole tournament down the tubes
@JMackinder96@BlankneyGC James, I’m providing a Bell to the club to be placed at the 4th green. I think it’s the most likely place on the course for an accident. This incident has given me the reason to make it happen. I’ve tried for years…some good….
@JMackinder96@BlankneyGC James I can only reiterate how sorry I am to have injured you with that ball. It keeps coming back to me, worrying whether you are alright. It’s been 3 days now….is there any sign of improvement, or at the least not getting worse?
@JMackinder96@BlankneyGC Well I couldn’t settle and played poorly…that tee shot was the very first hit with that new ball! It’s now in the jungle rough about 180 yds left off the 8th tee😁. I do hope the soreness goes away quickly
@JohnHartBGC@BlankneyGC I asked our regular group of lads, who played at about 5:30….said greens were all immaculate. Only comment they had was there was a group of younger golfers going up hole 5 while they were finishing on 18. So depending on which green it could help narrow down culprit?
@SteveCarrollNCG The old system was based on you playing HC about 1 in 10 games, so the new system should base HC on best 2 out of last 20? Too many players are 3 shots better off in this HC system, and many SF golfers are not entering competitions because it’s becoming a joke
