IGNORANCE HAS GONE GLOBAL
It seems there’s no cure, no quarantine, and no shortage of people carrying it. It’s spreading faster than good judgment can keep up.
Everywhere you look, folks speak with total confidence about things they know nothing at all about. Loud opinions, empty minds, no critical thinking whatsoever — and unbelievable amounts of self-assurance.
We’re living in a time where intelligence gets doubted, but foolishness gets cheered on. People will research a dinner spot for hours, yet never stop to question beliefs they’ve held their whole lives. They repeat what they hear, defend whatever they’re told, and turn on anyone who actually thinks for themselves.
And the craziest part? The less someone knows, the harder they’ll fight to protect their own ignorance. It’s almost impressive — having zero clue what you’re on about, yet acting like you’re qualified to teach everyone else. Standing ovation. Truly something.
Common sense feels like it’s becoming rare. Critical thinking’s an endangered species. Self-awareness? That vanished a long time ago. We have more information than ever at our fingertips, yet somehow we keep getting more confidently wrong every single day. Smartphones, smart homes, smart cars… and not nearly enough smart people.
Honestly, I don’t even argue these days. I just observe. You can’t reason with someone who treats being uninformed like it’s a personality trait. The real problem isn’t not knowing — it’s not knowing and not caring, plus the arrogance to insist you’re right. And the loudest ones? They’ve got platforms, audiences, and millions listening.
What a time to be alive. Come on — just think. It’s still allowed. While it lasts.
@lilrosry A lot of people are concerned with her going from 84 million to 82.8 million followers on Instagram. But to me that's just 1,200,000 people who were never really fans because they didn't evolve with her.
@lilrosry It's a musical taste difference. Her team is still probably trying to figure out how to market her evolution in Asia. A lot of musicians don't care as much about numbers. They care about the music. I don't know. Personally I love the way she operates. I love the surprises.
@Lynn__kym Because she's a singer first and drifting to rock and roll. Nothing wrong with that. Nothing wrong with dancing either. It's a personal preference. She's doing what she wants and I'm happy for her.
If I'm totally honest this one doesn't matter as much to me because I'm not a fan of pitting members of a group against each other. It shouldn't be a competition between the four of them. That's what fuels these stupid fan wars.
Rosé is 1145 votes behind Jisoo. It's a tough site to navigate. You can only vote every two minutes. I know lots of Rosie's fans have jobs and families and can't vote that often. I'm the same. I can vote maybe ten times a day. For those of you who can please vote Rosé.

Rosie's lead over Jungkook is dwindling. This one is important. It's a hard site to navigate and you can only vote every two minutes and lots of us have jobs and families and can't constantly vote but please do what you can. Vote Rosé.

Understood but rock in itself doesn't require the same promotion. The key with rock is FM radio and New Trick is holding it's own there. And this is a shift. When you move to rock your moving more to a western audience. I do agree with you on The Black Label. They don't know how to promote the rock side. Rosie should be calling the shots. It's the labels responsibility to make what she wants happen. Looking forward to continuing this thread.
Good thoughts. But I think one thing a lot of people don't want to accept is Rosé's musical direction. She grew up on rock and every song since On the Ground has been a slow shift to rock. APT revived the pop love but New Trick is pure garage punk rock. She says her new album will be rock and she's working with Andrew Wells who is a hard core rocker. I personally love the shift because I'm a rocker and work in that world but the promotion culture in rock is different. In rock the music speaks for itself. It makes no apology and you either love it or you don't. I think this is a little hard to stomach for a lot of her pop oriented fans. They want polish and dance while rock is raw and sweating your ass off behind a guitar and that's not the k-pop formula.
Also when I went to bed last night Rosé's lead over Jungkook was substantial. Now it is dwindling rapidly and time is running out. Vote for Rosé.
