I get that it’s supposed to be about turning the tables on an abusive relationship, Mick has said as much himself.

I’m probably overthinking it but some of the lyrics do make me cringe. I wish they didn’t.

@Afterglow85 I’m really conflicted about this. Musically, the song is to die for.

Equally, it’s hard to ignore the sinister nature of the lyrics which, ironically, as a younger man, I never questioned.

I don’t know the solution to the discomfort I feel about this and other Stones songs 😞
