I’m genuinely confused by why and how you @BTS_twt were convinced to do this campaign. You’re respected WIDELY within the fandom & by critics & peers alike for ur integrity, ingenuity, to be able to tap into culture, lyrical prowess. U do not need AI, ur better. #ARMYsAgainstAI
the normal reaction to this gemini ad would have been "gen ai is objectively harmful but i understand that certain brand deals will require bts to endorse certain things that i do not agree with. that does not make bts bad people but i will also not be promoting this endorsement"
i’m pretty firm on my stance against generative ai. i believe it’s contributing to collective cognitive decline. it devalues creative works. it’s bad for the environment. i don’t really see myself changing my opinion on it. it’s just not for me.
storytelling is as old as humanity itself, so why would we need to outsource it to an algorithm? in my opinion gen ai embodies everything bts stands against. even as "just" a brand, idk abt the stance of the individual members
This is the intersection of #Google#AI and #Genocide#BTSARMY 👀 don’t let HYBE manufacture your consent to support war crimes and crimes against humanity

genai is being forced into the corporate and education world. they make us feel like we have no choice. we've crossed the point of no return here.
but artists cannot afford to have the same stance. I firmly believe there is no future for art if genai is normalised among artists.
El-Sayed: Now Mike, I'm just going to remind you: if you don't know how to say the name, keep the name out your damn mouth. Or just call me Abdul. But I got some opinions about his name. See, it's very fitting for him: Rogers.
Cause that's his answer every time a corporation or Donald Trump tells him to do something.
"Mike, we need you to put a data center in the backyard." — "Roger!"
"Mike, we need you to hike their prescription drug prices." — "Roger!"
"Mike, we need you to rubber-stamp this war we shouldn't be fighting." — "Roger!"
"Mike" — and this one's Donald Trump — "I need you to lick these boots." — "Roger!"
And I think—I think I speak for all of us here in Michigan when I say that we are done with Rogers. Go back to Florida where you belong!
