@IanRunkle He proposed to me with the paper neck band from a salad dressing bottle. Still have it. Matching white gold plain bands for the wedding. *26* years later I designed my own "engagement ring": white gold/lab-grown London Blue topaz/triquetras + "re-proposal." We're weird.
@IanRunkle I know exactly what you mean. I helped friends with their house post-hurricane in '83 during my visit. Carpet, pieces of ceiling, furniture, HEAVY and wet, hauled out/off in SE Texas in August. I was a big girl back then, so exhausting. Prayers for your strength, health, sir.
@IanRunkle The garden-variety chain grocery store three miles away from me sells these, so I've wondered about them. Kinda like eating chicken wing tips??
@IanRunkle I was a preteen when Pong was introduced. Used to love picking up grandmother at the bus station, because they had a Pong machine there. Just imagine what I've seen happen with games since then. π
@IanRunkle My son stayed up past 1:30 this morning, playing this game, after all of the anticipation of its release. He's neuro spicy, so not out of the norm for him. π
@IanRunkle Not a lawyer, and not Canadian, but bringing an opinion anyway. If he is incapacitated by genuine unconsciousness (with no medical people on hand to say otherwise), preventing him from observing and evaluating his consent status, should that not halt his offer to let them search?
