Welcome. I write about adult life, nostalgia, relationships, and the strange little things everyone notices but nobody says out loud.
Adulthood is mostly answering emails while wondering how everyone else got matching towels.
If that sounds familiar, stay awhile.
Would you eat a mouthful of thorns? 🌵🥴 Absolutely not. But this camel doesn't even flinch!
Secret: Its mouth is lined with tough, finger-like papillae made of keratin (yep, the same stuff as your fingernails). They act like a built-in shield, flattening the spikes so it can swallow without getting poked.
Nature is wild, isn't it? 🐪🔥

Me: I'll start fresh tomorrow.
Also me tomorrow: opens same 47 tabs, makes same excuses, eats same midnight snacks
Who else is stuck in a loop of "starting fresh" that never actually starts? 🔄
Me: I'm going to be productive today.
Also me, 4 hours later: deep dive into why octopuses have three hearts
What's the most random rabbit hole you've fallen into this week? 🐙
I've realized I'm addicted to low-quality information—basically, scrolling through short videos. I'm either watching Bilibili, scrolling through other platforms, or just watching TV in the living room. I can't stop; I have to watch something, otherwise I feel uneasy.
What terrifies me is that I feel there are countless others like this in the world. My parents are, and there are probably many around me as well. It's frightening. The key is, I don't feel relaxed at all; in fact, I'm exhausted, but I just have to consume, consume, consume those videos.
It's probably because I'm too busy. After a period of busyness, I think about "treating myself," and once I do, I'm hooked, and I can't get back up. After watching so much of this, I feel my willpower is getting weaker and weaker.
I definitely need to quit. On weekends, I should exercise, read, play guitar, or simply write something—anything to get away from those meaningless videos.
You can't be too aggressive; it's really harmful to yourself.
I just realized that everyone's "private parts" are different.
A prostitute's genitals aren't private; her real social relationships (family, classmates, household registration) are.
A wealthy person's high spending isn't private; their source of income is.
An internet celebrity's personal life isn't private; the commercial operations and profit distribution behind the scenes are.
A philanthropist's good deeds aren't private; the process of wealth accumulation is.
